The Avalon Harbor Underwater Cleanup has grown into one of the major dive events in Southern California. This annual endeavor to clean Avalon’s spectacular harbor attracts 600 participants from across California and neighboring states. Following the Cleanup Dive, the Awards Ceremony is highlighted with raffle and sponsorship announcements.
Proceeds from the event continue to benefit the USC Catalina Hyperbaric Chamber, a life support recompression facility on Catalina. Funds raised during the cleanup will also be donated to the Avalon Casino Improvement Project, an effort to enhance the amenities and mend some of the older infrastructure at the dive park for our dive community to enjoy. As we plan next year's event, we look forward to your generous support. We are looking for cash donations but we would especially appreciate Primary Sponsor items that we could use to headline our awards ceremony and to promote the event. As event facilitator, the team at Catalina Divers Supply is eager to raise money for these worthwhile causes and we would love your help!
